I love myself because I am. I don't have to do things, say things, or look in a particular way to love myself. All I need to do is be me. Just the fact that I am a human being alive on this earth is reason enough to love myself.

Since I love myself and accept myself for who I am, I do not need to compare myself to anyone else. My self worth exists regardless what anybody says or does. I do not need anybody's approval because I love myself the way I am. I am a beautiful and special person. I have an inner beauty that is so radiant that I don't have any choice but to accept myself for who I am.

There may be things I'd like to learn to do better or things I'd like to change about myself. This is O.K. because I love myself the way I am now. As I begin to change in ways that become more helpful in coping with life, I realize that I am just as worthy as I was before. However, now I have a now found skill. Now I have more strength than ever.

If on some level I am not satisfied with my performance or the a situation turns out, so what? Who cares? It doesn't matter what anybody thinks about me because I tried my best and I love myself just the same. I accept the occurrence of any outcome regarding "my performance". All I need to do is to let go and be proud of myself for trying. I can learn from everything I do. I accept myself for being me, not for my performance. I love myself for who I was yesterday, for who I am today, and for who I will be tomorrow. I am a worthy and a wonderful person.
